Design Process, Decisions, and Outcomes
Design Process
The possibilities are limitless, and the process is so essential. I think about how I can design something to improve one's way of life or to make people feel embraced by the design. It is the meaning behind the design that is genuine.
Decisions
It is the design decisions that can make or break a design. Design decisions are at the true heart and meaning behind the design. The decisions impact how people will be affected by design and how it will make them feel. These are often based on the target audience.
Outcomes
The outcome comes from designing something that is designed from the good of heart. An affective outcome is valid. This means the final result is positive and does not contain false information. Although the outcome is the only thing the general public interacts with, the process and decision-making allow the outcome to be fully effective. These enable the user to feel embraced, heard, and comfortable.
